What is remedial massage?
Remedial massage is a hands-on treatment that targets the muscles and soft tissues that are tight, sore or holding you back.
Unlike a purely relaxation massage, a remedial session focuses on the areas causing you trouble. Your therapist chooses the techniques and pressure to suit your body, your concerns and how you are feeling on the day.

What to expect at your appointment
1. A quick chat
We'll ask what's bothering you, any relevant health history and what you'd like to get out of the session.
2. Targeted treatment
Your massage focuses on the areas that need it most. Pressure is adjusted to your comfort, and you stay covered except for the area being worked on.
3. Afterwards
Some people feel mild muscle soreness for a day or two, similar to after exercise. Drinking water and gentle movement can help.
